Matteröds kyrka is a parish church of Tyringe församling in the Diocese of Lund, standing in the countryside of Matteröds socken in Hässleholm municipality, Skåne. Its origins reach back to the early medieval period, and the building has been altered substantially over the centuries.

The original stone church was built in Romanesque style in the early 1200s, a modest structure that has been much changed over the following centuries. In 1805 it was widened to the north, giving it a nearly square plan, while its present appearance dates largely from a rebuilding of 1897–1898, when a tower with a tall spire was added. At that time the old porch and separate bell-frame were demolished; a small bell cast in 1599 was moved up into the new tower alongside a newly acquired large bell. The original east end was also removed and replaced with a new apse.

In the early 1930s the interior was repainted grey, and a painted star ceiling in the sacristy was covered over; the current pews also date from this period.

Among the furnishings, only the sandstone base survives of a font believed to date from the 1100s, thought to originate from Gotland. The altarpiece, carved in the 1750s by the woodcarver Johan Ullberg, depicts the Last Supper as its central scene, and the same craftsman is credited with the canopied pulpit of 1755. A confessional chair in the choir bears the date 1757 and may also come from Ullberg's workshop.

On the south wall hangs a nineteenth-century painting by the local folk artist Anders Dahlman, depicting the biblical sacrifice of Isaac.

The church's organ has its own history of change: an instrument by Gotthilf Magnus Liljeberg of Karlskrona was installed in 1898, and in 1961 a new mechanical organ of eleven stops was built by the Olof Hammarberg firm of Gothenburg, retaining the facade of the earlier 1898 instrument.
