Målsryds kyrka, in the village of Målsryd near Borås, is a brick church built in 1915 and often described as one of the last Swedish churches raised in the neo-Gothic style. It serves Toarps församling in Skara stift.

The church was built to serve the growing factory and railway community of Målsryd, whose residents had previously faced a long journey to Toarp church. Following a proposal in 1913, a building committee was formed, and the project was largely funded through local collections and donations, including significant contributions from the area's factory owners and residents. The church was designed by the Borås architect Lars Kellman and built by master builders Albin and Carl-Wilhelm Gustafsson of Sandhult. It was consecrated on Michaelmas Day, 3 October 1915, by Bishop Hjalmar Danell.

The building stands on a base of hewn granite, oriented north-west to south-east, with a tower and main entrance at the north-west end and a narrower, five-sided chancel extension to the south-east, which also houses the sacristy. The nave has a saddle roof and the chancel a five-sided hipped roof, both covered in slate, while the tower's pointed roof is clad in painted sheet iron and topped with a gilded cross.

The wooden font, likely oak, dates from the church's construction in 1915, its bowl and foot carved from a single piece of wood. The pulpit, with its five-sided body and sound canopy, is also original, showing a simplified neoclassical character. The altarpiece, an oil painting titled after olive groves in Galilee and depicting Christ with his disciples, was painted by Professor Olle Hjortzberg and given to the church in 1941 when the chancel was remodelled; sources indicate a Thorvaldsen Christ figure had adorned the altar until that point, after which it was moved to the parish hall.

Two bells hang in the tower. The smaller, at 220 kg, was the church's original bell, cast in 1915 partly from copper items collected locally. A larger bell of 500 kg was added in 1924, cast by M & O Ohlsson in Ystad, reportedly after a fall in copper prices made a bigger casting more affordable. Both bells carry inscriptions drawing on psalm texts.

The present organ, built by Johannes Künkel and inaugurated on 10 September 1988, stands on the west gallery and has twelve stops across two manuals and pedal; its silent façade is said to survive from an earlier organ dating to 1917. Renovations in 1962 and 1987 altered and later restored aspects of the interior, including uncovering the original reddish-brown patterned ceiling decoration, which had at some point been covered with white panels, and adapting the building for accessibility.
