Lundby nya kyrka, in the Sannegården district of Gothenburg, serves Lundby parish. The original church of 1886 was destroyed by fire in 1993, and a new building, designed by architects Akke Zimdal and Margareta Diedrichs, was completed in 1996. The nearest stops are Säterigatan or Danaplatsen.

The first Lundby nya kyrka was designed by Adrian C. Peterson and inaugurated in October 1886, replacing the medieval Lundby gamla kyrka as the parish's place of worship. Built in exposed brick in a strict neo-Gothic style, with a tall pointed west tower, it was championed by the parish's then vicar, later bishop, Uddo Lechard Ullman, a keen promoter of Gothic Revival church architecture in Sweden at the time.

On the night of 7 February 1993 the church was destroyed by arson; only the outer walls and a few fire-proofed items survived, and the ruins were demolished the following year. Two young men were later convicted of the crime, reportedly having been influenced by the Norwegian black metal musician Varg Vikernes, who was known for burning wooden churches in Norway. Some bricks from the ruined building were kept and later incorporated into the walls of its replacement.

The insured building was rebuilt on the same site, with a design competition won by architects Akke Zimdal, Margareta Diedrichs and Eva Grane. The new church, inaugurated in October 1996, takes its inspiration from simple medieval rural Italian basilicas, constructed in shades of red brick on a granite base, with floors of limestone and oak. A large rose window at the entrance, and smaller painted windows elsewhere in the building, are the work of Arne Charlez, while Akke Zimdal himself painted windows in the basilica's upper gallery.

Inside, the stone altar and font were made by Annika Steen, and the choir features wooden artworks and coloured window glazing by Lars Huck Hultgren. A ceramic frieze above the church door is by Herman Fogelin, and the weathercock and cross above the entrance gable were designed by Zimdal. The tower holds two bells: one cast using metal from the church's earlier bells, the other originally from a now-closed chapel at Lillhagen.

The church also has a mechanical choir organ built by Magnussons orgelbyggeri, alongside a digital gallery organ.
