Låstads kyrka is a small parish church in Låstad, in the Mariestad district of Västra Götaland, belonging to Ullervad parish within the Diocese of Skara. Its origins reach back to the medieval period, and it retains furnishings that span several centuries.

The church is thought to have been built originally in the 1100s or 1200s, though the parish itself is not recorded by name until 1490, when it appears as 'Lostha'. The earliest known depiction of the building comes from Johan Peringskiöld's 'Monumenta Sueogothica', compiled in the 1670s, which shows a nave with a straight chancel and a timber porch, with bells hung in a separate wooden bell tower.

The church has been altered considerably since then. The chancel was rebuilt in 1733, when the building was extended into a hall church with a three-sided east wall, and a sacristy was added in 1740. The old freestanding bell tower was demolished in 1802, its bells moved into a new wooden tower at the west end. The porch has been rebuilt more than once: removed in 1873, replaced in 1888 with a new porch with double doors on three sides, and removed again in 1953 to make way for a vestibule beneath the organ loft.

Among the furnishings, the altarpiece depicting the institution of the Lord's Supper was given to the church in 1701, carved by the sculptor Jonas Bjur, a local craftsman from nearby Stommen. The pulpit is thought to be contemporary with the altarpiece and possibly also his work; it was at one point replaced by a lectern near the altar table, before being reinstalled in 1898 against the south wall, since a memorial tablet by then occupied the north wall.

The font, with its plain cylindrical bowl and square base, dates from the same early period as the original church building, making it one of the oldest surviving objects inside. The painted ceiling decoration, added in 1752, is attributed to a painter associated with the Läckö school and illustrates New Testament scenes including the Nativity, the Crucifixion, the Resurrection and the Last Judgement. The gallery front carries a depiction of Christ as Salvator Mundi, surrounded by Moses, John the Baptist and the four Evangelists.

The large bell is of a late medieval type without any inscription. The present organ, built in 1934 by Nordfors & Co and later adjusted in 1954, replaced an earlier harmonium organ from 1886; it stands on the west gallery behind a plain, undecorated case.
