Lagga kyrka is a medieval parish church in Lagga, near Knivsta in Uppsala län, belonging to the Church of Sweden. Set on the lower slope of Laggaberget beside an ancient waterway, it retains much of its original character despite centuries of alteration.

The church was built as a single-nave hall church, probably in the late 1200s or early 1300s, with a rectangular nave and a straight-ended chancel to the east. Its walls are of rough stone, with brick used for the vaulting, gables, doorways and windows. A sacristy was added on the north-east side, standing on a tall foundation with a spacious cellar, and a porch was later built onto the south-west corner, probably around the mid-1400s.

Originally the interior had a wooden trefoil vault, whose timber skeleton still survives in the roof space. In the first half of the 1400s this was replaced by four brick cross-vaults, painted with murals; a later layer of decoration has been dated by inscription to 1498 and is attributed to the workshop of Albertus Pictor. The walls were whitewashed over in 1747, though the vault paintings themselves were spared, and much of the medieval decorative scheme is still visible today.

The church has been reshaped more than once. In 1814–1816 the windows were substantially enlarged and new openings cut into the north wall, altering the light and proportions of the interior; a restoration in 1926–1927 under architect Evert Milles reversed some of these changes, closing one enlarged chancel window and restoring the medieval character, with conservation work carried out by the painter Edvin Almgren.

Among the furnishings, the stone font is thought to be the oldest object in the church, carved with twelfth-century interlace and animal ornament, though a wooden font base has also been dated to the 1100s in some accounts. A carved triumphal crucifix attributed to the so-called Dalby Master dates from the first half of the 1300s and is considered the church's oldest wooden object, though it has since been fitted with a replacement cross. A late-medieval Marian altarpiece, depicting the coronation and death of the Virgin in its carved scenes, was restored in 1927 after having been discarded, and a related, undecorated Marian shrine — found dismantled in the bell tower — now hangs on the north wall.

Outside, a detached wooden bell tower on higher ground dates from 1736, replacing an earlier structure, and holds a bell recast that same year alongside a nineteenth-century companion bell. Near the church stands a bronze sculpture of a music-making angel, unveiled in 1959, a copy of a well-known work by the sculptor Carl Milles. The old rectory to the east, with its hipped roof of Caroline type, is thought to date from the later 1600s.
