Kyrkås kyrka is a timber church in Kyrkås, in the parish of Essunga, part of the Skara diocese in Västra Götaland. Standing in the wooded district of Edsveden, it is thought to have replaced an earlier medieval wooden church, from which some furnishings survive.

The present building was constructed of timber, probably during the 18th century. Its current form, with a full-width chancel, a sacristy to the north and small angular leaded windows, is believed to date from the early 19th century. The church was repaired and repainted in 1825, and in 1886 the exterior walls, previously red, were painted white. A substantial restoration in 1946, overseen by architect Ärland Noreen, returned the interior to a baroque appearance.

The church consists of a nave with a straight-ended chancel to the east, a porch to the west and a sacristy north of the chancel. The nave and porch have steep gable roofs, while the sacristy's roof is shallower; all are covered with single-curved clay tiles. Inside, a coved ceiling added in 1902 is lined with white-limed matchboarding from the 1946 restoration, when the closed box pews were also recreated. A freestanding timber bell tower was erected around 1700 and given a boarded exterior a century later.

Among the church's furnishings is an oak sculpture of an enthroned Madonna, dated to the 13th century, which once formed part of an altar cabinet and now stands on a pedestal; the figure measures 73 cm and the cabinet 110 cm. A two-part sandstone font may also date from the 13th century. The pulpit, five-sided and in a late Renaissance style, was built in 1671, while the baroque altarpiece dates from 1690.

A mechanical organ by John Grönvall Orgelbyggeri, with six stops across manual and pedal, was installed on the west gallery in 1970, replacing an earlier harmonium.
