Kiaby kyrka is a parish church near Bäckaskog Castle in Skåne, serving Fjälkinge parish. Built of red brick in the thirteenth century, it retains its medieval core alongside later additions, including a distinctive nineteenth-century reorientation that still shapes the building's unusual layout today.

The oldest parts of the church date from the mid-1200s, when it was built of unplastered red brick with only a chancel and nave, originally covered by a flat timber ceiling. A stone church may have replaced an earlier timber building recorded in written sources. During the later 1400s, star vaults were added in brick, along with wall paintings attributed to the so-called Fjälkinge Master, depicting scenes such as the Annunciation, Crucifixion, Entombment, Resurrection and Ascension; the Ascension scene covers much of the north wall of the chancel. The tower, built of granite bonded with lime mortar, was added around 1500.

A memorial stone set into the outer wall to the right of the north entrance bears the monogram of King Gustav III and the date 1790, marking a significant enlargement. As the parish population grew, a spacious new north transept was built in granite and lime mortar, large enough to include a substantial gallery and accommodate most worshippers. This change was significant enough that in 1832 the church's main axis was altered from the traditional east–west orientation to a north–south one, an unusual arrangement among Swedish parish churches.

Several furnishings survive from the church's early centuries. A crucifix contemporary with the church's construction hangs in the triumphal arch, its Christ figure fitted with a copper crown and silver sandals. The sandstone font is also thought to date from the church's original building period. The altarpiece, a North German work, dates from around 1500, while the pulpit was made in the early eighteenth century and features carved images of the four evangelists along with four hourglasses marking quarter-hours.

Two bells hang in the tower's third storey, the larger cast in 1741 and the smaller in 1763. The current organ, built in 1985 by J. Künkels Orgelverkstad of Lund, replaced earlier instruments, including one moved from Fjälkinge church in 1900 and a later one built in 1939.
