Källunga kyrka is a small, tower-less parish church in Herrljunga kommun, Västra Götaland. Its oldest parts are thought to date from the late twelfth century, making it one of the more venerable rural churches in the Skara diocese.

The church began as a simple nave, built of granite in an area of gently rolling farmland. Some sources suggest a wooden church may have preceded the stone building; excavations during a 1940s restoration uncovered heavy oak timbers in the floor, thought to belong to this earlier structure, along with fragments of human remains.

The building was extended over the centuries rather than built at once. In 1796 a three-sided chancel was added to the east, together with larger windows along the nave. A further phase in 1842 brought a stone sacristy to the north and a timber porch at the west end, along with a new, higher timber barrel ceiling that replaced the old flat one, destroying earlier ceiling paintings in the process. A detached wooden bell tower with a red-panelled finish and shingled roof was erected in 1823 and still stands in the churchyard.

A thorough restoration in 1945–1947, designed by Ärland Noreen, deliberately tried to recover something of the church's lost medieval character, undoing some of the 1842 changes. A new brick porch with an aged plaster finish was built, and the old limestone floor, recovered during excavation, was relaid inside. The pulpit's carved figures were uncovered and a canopy with a hanging dove added above it; new decorative painting was carried out by Torbjörn Engblad, and the church was reconsecrated in January 1947.

Among the furnishings is a sandstone font, carved in two parts around 1200 and decorated with rope-moulding, which for a century stood dismantled — the bowl kept in the bell tower and the base used to support the pulpit — before being reunited in the chancel during the 1945 restoration. The altarpiece, painted in 1904 by Karl Reimer, depicts the Ascension of Christ. A sixteenth-century copper altar crucifix has an unusual history: the figure is said to have once been carried on a pole through the fields as a fertility charm, a folk practice officially banned in 1772, before being fixed to its present cross in 1932.

The church's current organ, a small five-stop instrument built in 1974, was relocated here in 2005 from Herrljunga church and now sits behind an older 1893 organ case; the earlier pneumatic organ it replaced was discarded at that time.
