Hössjö missionshus is unusually large for a mission house, with a church hall seating 150 people and an organ gallery. In winter, the assembly hall is mainly used.
The EFS association in Hössjö was formed in the 1910s. In 1934, Karl and Lina Andersson donated the plot on which the building stands. The architect Sven Sandström designed it, and the building was inaugurated in 1935. The crucifix above the altar was made by Evert Larsson, Hössjö.
The mission house can be hired for occasions such as baptisms, weddings and other alcohol-free gatherings. The church hall seats approximately 150 people and the assembly hall approximately 60 people.
