Herrestads kyrka is a parish church in Herrestad, near Uddevalla in Västra Götaland, serving Herrestad parish within the Diocese of Gothenburg. Its history stretches back to a medieval timber building, though the structure visitors see today is largely the result of nineteenth-century rebuilding.

A wooden church originally stood on this site during the medieval period, later replaced by a stone church no later than the sixteenth century. In 1826 the building underwent a thorough reconstruction, during which most of the earlier fabric was replaced. A tower was added at the western end in 1849, its ground floor fitted out as a porch. The church now consists of a nave with a three-sided chancel to the east, matching the nave in width, with a sacristy on the south side and the tower, containing the main entrance, to the west.

Inside, the pulpit dates from the mid-nineteenth century and has a five-sided body and matching canopy. The wooden font was acquired in 1922. Between 1923 and 1925 the artist John Hedaeus painted the altarpiece, along with decorative work in the window niches and ceiling roundels. Older furnishings survive too: a set of seventeenth-century pew doors, and a gilded silver communion chalice and paten dating from 1703.

The two church bells were cast in 1777 and 1850. The main organ, built in 1971 by Tore Lindegren, has seventeen stops across two manuals and pedal, while a smaller choir organ dating from 1982 provides six stops.
