Hångsdala kyrka is a small parish church in Tidaholm municipality, Västra Götaland, whose oldest parts date back to the second half of the 12th century. Set within Skara diocese, it retains striking Romanesque and medieval features alongside later additions.

The church began as a Romanesque apse church, and its eastern sections still show this early character. Over the centuries it has been altered and extended, most visibly with the addition of a sturdy tower in 1903, built in a Romanesque-inspired style to replace an earlier wooden tower.

The porch on the south side is thought to date from the late 17th century. Either side of its entrance are two large gravestones set into the wall, carved with numerous relief figures — a striking detail worth pausing over before entering. Inside, the nave is covered by whitewashed late-medieval vaulting.

Among the fittings, the pulpit of 1703 is attributed to the sculptor Johan Ullberg, while the altarpiece of 1716, by his relative Jonas Ullberg, depicts the Crucifixion with a scene of the Resurrection above. The altar table itself is topped with a finely carved slab of soapstone.

The font is one of the church's oldest treasures, dated to shortly after 1150 and attributed to the stonemason Roglinus; sources agree on this attribution though descriptions of its carved decoration vary slightly in detail. A communion chalice from the 1500s, engraved with a crucifix on its base, also survives from the church's early furnishings.

The organ, built in 1977 by the Smedman workshop in Lidköping, has seven stops; its case, however, dates from 1903 and belonged to an earlier instrument by the Liared organ-building firm. Two bells hang in the tower, both considered late medieval, weighing 320 kg and 130 kg, though one source gives a specific casting date of 1610 for the larger bell while the church's own account describes it simply as late medieval without a date.
