Hälleviksstrands kyrka: Hälleviksstrand Church is located on Orust. It differs from many other churches in its red colour and Old Norse-inspired features.

The church was built mainly because the population of Morlanda parish had grown considerably, and there was no room in Morlanda church for all those attending services. The proposal in 1895 was initially to build a new, large church in Morlanda and a smaller church elsewhere in the parish. However, as there were not sufficient resources for two churches, it was decided in 1900 to build only one, somewhat larger church in Hälleviksstrand.

The architect Adrian Peterson was engaged for the task and gave a clear character to the central church, which has the form of a Greek cross and is partly inspired by nave churches (basilica-form churches). It is the only church Adrian Peterson built in wood. Originally the church also had Old Norse features on the exterior, where dragon heads adorned the roof and tower. These were removed in 1929, as the wood had been damaged. On 20 October 1904 the church was consecrated by Bishop Edvard Rodhe. The following Sunday, the local population experienced an earthquake that caused settlement damage in the church.

Altar: The altarpiece is a reduced copy of Thorvaldsen's The Risen Christ.

Pulpit

On the pulpit there are six wooden sculptures of men from Swedish church history: Ansgar, Olavus Petri, Haqvin Spegel, Johan Olof Wallin, Henric Schartau and Edvard Herman Rodhe. Behind the pulpit hangs an oil portrait of the rural dean Carl Ljunggren, vicar of Morlanda 1888–1921. The portrait was painted by the renowned artist Carl Wilhelmson.

Votive ship

The votive ship, which hangs above the centre aisle, is carved and was donated by August Oskarsson in 1946.

Church bell

The church's bell is from 1904 and was cast in Stockholm.
