Hagebyhöga kyrka is a medieval parish church in Hagebyhöga, Vadstena municipality, in Östergötland. Consecrated in the 1120s, it began as a Romanesque building and was substantially remodelled in the later Middle Ages, giving it the layered character visitors can still trace today.

The church's origins lie in the twelfth century, when it was built in Romanesque style, quite possibly at the commission of a local nobleman, an idea supported by the presence of an upper gallery level within the tower. During the medieval period, thought to be the 1420s, the building was substantially reworked: vaults were added and windows enlarged, changes traditionally attributed to a master mason named Sune. Interestingly, the decorative details from this remodelling closely resemble work carried out at the same time in Vadstena Abbey church, suggesting the same craftsmen may have been involved in both projects.

The building's southern entrance was likely a medieval porch, but when a new portal was constructed in 1831 the older opening was sealed and replaced with a window, a small but telling sign of how the church's fabric has been adjusted over the centuries. A sundial was fitted to the south side of the tower in 1702, and in 1886 a globe topped with a cross and iron railing was added to the upper roof. Inside, in the chancel, part of the original medieval roof structure can still be seen.

Among the church's furnishings is its font, which has an unusual history: the original Romanesque font was replaced around 1688 by a new one, thought to have been made by Johan Andersson of Vadstena in 1665. The older font was moved out to the churchyard, but has since been brought back inside and is once again in use, a reminder that not everything displaced from a church is lost for good.

The church has had a series of organs over the centuries. A small positive organ was recorded in the mid-1600s and sold in 1704; it was followed by an instrument built by Johan Agerwall of Söderköping in 1707, later enlarged. The current organ dates from 1886, built by Carl Elfström of Ljungby, with later additions to its pedal division.
