Guldrupe kyrka is a medieval parish church standing in the countryside of central Gotland, part of Vänge församling within the Diocese of Visby. Its weathered limestone walls and steep pyramidal tower roof reflect centuries of gradual building on this modest rural site.

The earliest known church here was of timber; a pair of oak planks carved with dragon ornament, now kept in Gotland's Fornsal museum, is thought to survive from that lost building. The present stone nave was raised in the later twelfth century, at first with a smaller tower and chancel that have since disappeared. During the first half of the thirteenth century the current tower was added, and an opening in the west wall was decorated in red and grey paint, the only surviving medieval decoration in the church. By the end of the thirteenth century the present Gothic chancel and sacristy replaced the earlier, smaller choir. Plans to rebuild the nave itself in matching Gothic style were apparently drawn up but never carried out, leaving the older Romanesque proportions intact.

The nave's rounded doorway is original to the twelfth-century building, though its medieval-style windows date only from an 1865 alteration. The nave once had an open timber roof structure, now hidden by a flat ceiling. Pointed, wide openings link the tower chamber, nave and chancel, while the chancel itself is covered by a tent-shaped vault and lit by a group of three windows in its east wall. The tower's tall pyramidal roof retains much of its original timber construction, and carpenters' runic marks cut into the beams can still be seen, evidently guides used during its building.

Among the furnishings, a stone font in the tower chamber is attributed to the twelfth-century carver Byzantios. The pulpit dates from the seventeenth century and was bought in 1776 from the neighbouring church at Vänge. A painted image of Saint Olaf, carved in the thirteenth century, stands on a medieval side altar in the south-eastern corner of the nave. The current pews date from the eighteenth century and were repainted in 1965.

A restoration in 1964–1965, overseen by architect Olle Karth, raised the flat ceiling, which had previously cut across the chancel arch. The church's small mechanical organ was built in 1969 by Andreas Thulesius of Klintehamn, replacing an earlier nineteenth-century instrument by Olof Niclas Lindqvist of Visby.
