Fyrunga kyrka is a 19th-century parish church standing on a hill on the Vara plain in Fyrunga, part of Varabygden parish in the Diocese of Skara. It is a popular choice for weddings, including for couples connected to the nearby Bjertorp Castle.

The present church was built in 1874, replacing a medieval stone church thought to date from the 1100s or 1200s, which likely stood on the same site. It was constructed by master builder Anders Pettersson of Värsås to designs by the architect Ludvig Hedin, in a Neo-Gothic style.

The building is laid out as a centralised church with a plan in the form of an even-armed cross, from the middle of which rises a tower topped with a lantern. Its gables carry the pointed lancet windows typical of Neo-Gothic design, while the exterior is whitewashed with a slate-covered roof and a copper-clad spire. Inside, the ceiling features timber cross-vaulting.

A substantial restoration in 1952, overseen by Adolf Niklasson, altered the character of the interior somewhat: new enclosed spaces were built beneath the galleries, reducing the original open, centralised feel. A new east-facing door was added at the same time, the only significant external change.

Among the church's furnishings is a font dating from the 1200s, a survivor from the earlier medieval building. The bells have a complicated history: they were moved in 1946 to a newly built bell tower designed by architect Ärland Noreen, then returned to the church tower after its 1952 renovation; the freestanding bell tower itself was later relocated to Årsta church in Stockholm. The smaller of the two bells is of a plain, early medieval type without inscriptions, while the larger bell was bought in from Bitterna parish.

The organ, on the west gallery, was built in 1912 by Eskil Lundén of Gothenburg and remains largely unaltered, with only one stop replaced since installation—a point of interest for visitors curious about historic pneumatic organs.
