Furulundskyrkan is a modern church in Partille, near Gothenburg, run jointly by the Church of Sweden and the EFS renewal movement. Built in 2001, it serves Furulund parish and offers a glimpse of contemporary Swedish church design and craftsmanship.

The church stands in Furulund, where a local EFS association had been active for twenty years before the building itself was constructed. EFS is a lay-led renewal movement within the Church of Sweden, with a particular focus on mission and lay involvement, and Furulundskyrkan operates as a cooperation church shared between EFS and the parish.

Designed by architect Stig Henrik Lundgren of SHL arkitekter and completed in 2001, the building is a low, single-storey structure with a basement. The rectangular worship hall is covered by a steep gabled roof, while the adjoining parish rooms have a lower, flatter roof; both are clad in galvanised sheet metal, with white-rendered walls and plinth giving the whole a plain, restrained appearance typical of many recent Swedish parish churches. In 2007 the worship space was enlarged, nearly doubling the seating capacity.

Inside, the fittings are simple and modern in character. The font has an octagonal stainless-steel bowl set on a red-stained wooden foot, while the altar, also of red-stained wood, is carved with Christian symbols; its accompanying altar rail is made of four movable sections painted pale blue, with red fabric kneelers. The pulpit takes the form of a wooden lectern with a lightly stained base and a red-stained book rest.

The most striking feature for visitors is likely the large cross-shaped altarpiece, assembled from variously coloured pieces of ceramic in a mosaic-like design. It was created in 2001 by the artist L. Söder and forms the visual focus of the otherwise plain interior.

The church also has a small mechanical organ built in 2002 by Ålems Orgelverkstad, with seven stops across two manuals and pedal.
