Bureå kyrka is the parish church of Bureå, standing on a wooded point beside the Bure river in Västerbotten. Completed in 1920, this red-brick National Romantic building is a striking landmark for anyone travelling along the river valley in this part of northern Sweden.

The church was built between 1918 and 1920 to designs by the architect Fredrik Falkenberg, with construction carried out by master builder Johan Lagerkvist. It is a three-aisled brick hall church with a polygonal choir to the south and a tower, with entrance, to the north. The 56-metre tower is topped with an onion dome and spire, while the roofs are covered in clay tile. A stone wall with an arched lychgate encloses the churchyard.

Inside, the whitewashed brick walls are richly decorated with marbling effects, and the nave is covered by a trefoil-shaped vault lined with wood panelling, while the choir has a star vault. The wall paintings are the work of Yngve Lundström. Fixed wooden pews are arranged in four rows, and twelve tall, narrow round-arched windows depict the attributes of the twelve apostles.

The altar cabinet dates from the church's construction and carries an altarpiece by David Wallin from 1919–20 showing Christ blessing the children. When closed, the cabinet's outer doors reveal a different painting, added in 1953 by the church painter Torsten Nordberg, which then serves as the altarpiece in its own right — an unusual double arrangement worth looking out for. A triumphal crucifix by David Wretling was added in 1957.

The organ was built in 1967 by the Gothenburg firm of Olof Hammarberg. According to the national Buildings Register, the church has retained its original character particularly well since its completion.
