Brandstads kyrka, a small parish church in the village of Brandstad in Skåne, dates from the late 1100s or early 1200s. Built in Romanesque style, it retains medieval features alongside later additions, making it a modest but interesting stop for visitors exploring the region's rural churches.

The church was originally built with two entrances, one on the north side and one on the south, both of which remain visible from inside despite being bricked up during a substantial rebuilding in 1837. That same rebuilding saw the addition of the tower with its spire, and the replacement of the medieval stone vaults in the nave with wooden barrel vaults.

On the north wall of the chancel, fragments of limewash paintings survive from around the mid-to-late 1200s, depicting a wedding party or riding procession on horseback, according to differing accounts. The ceiling paintings elsewhere in the church, set against a sky-blue background, are more recent, created in the 1920s by the artist Axel Kulle, reportedly with the assistance of a young Sven Erixson, who later became well known under the name X-et.

The font is thought to have been carved by Mårten Stenmästare and dates from the 1100s or early 1200s, making it one of the oldest surviving furnishings in the building. The altarpiece and pulpit, carved in Baroque style, are later additions from the late 1600s or early 1700s.

The floor features square stamped bricks of uncertain age, notable for having patterns on their undersides as well as their visible surfaces, an unusual detail for visitors who take a moment to look closely.

The church has had at least two organs: one built in 1854 by Sven Fogelberg of Lund, and the current instrument, built in 1923 by Eskil Lundén of Gothenburg and later modified in the 1960s.
