Berga kyrka is a parish church in Lagan, near Ljungby in Kronoberg county, serving Berga församling within the Church of Sweden. Its neoclassical exterior belies a much older history, with fittings dating back to the medieval period on this site.

A stone church, built in the Romanesque style, is believed to have stood here from around the mid-1100s. This earlier building was demolished in 1819 to make way for the present church, constructed largely with reused material from its predecessor. Designed by Jacob Wilhelm Gerss and built under master builder Peter Österlöf, the new church was usable from 1821, though it remained unfurnished for several years. It was formally consecrated on Whit Sunday, 22 May 1825, by Esaias Tegnér, newly appointed Bishop of Växjö.

The church is built in neoclassical style, with a rectangular nave, an apse-shaped chancel niche and a sacristy behind it to the east. The west tower originally carried a lantern typical of its period, replaced in the 1890s by the present Neo-Gothic spire. In 1853 the windows were enlarged to their current size, a change that weakened the walls; buttresses were added in 1923 to reinforce the masonry. Inside, the barrel-vaulted timber ceiling covers a hall-church interior, with the chancel niche's decorative painting, added in 1927 by Ernst Söderberg, forming its most distinctive feature.

Among the older furnishings is a triumphal crucifix dated to the 13th century, now used as an altar ornament, and a stone font from the 1100s carved with Romanesque animal motifs beneath eight round arches, considered the church's oldest and most striking object. A medieval depiction of the Madonna and Child with Saint Sigfrid, sometimes called the apostle of Småland, also survives from the 13th century. Other notable items include a chandelier above the font from 1760, an oak alms box from the 1600s, and a floor clock in the choir dating to 1772.

The pulpit, built in 1836, originally served as a combined altar-pulpit and incorporates parts of an earlier 1707 pulpit made by Torbern Röding. The large bell was cast in 1587 but has since been recast several times, while the smaller bell dates from 1952 and bears an inscription by the Lagan-born author Folke Fridell.

The church has had several organs: an 1864 instrument by Carl Elfström of Ljungby, with a case designed by Ludvig Hawerman, was replaced in 1951 by a new organ from Mårtenssons orgelfabrik, retaining the earlier case; this was later renovated in 1974. A smaller mechanical choir organ was added in 1986.
