Askome kyrka: Askome church was built in 1780 to designs by Johan Friedrich Röhr and was consecrated on the first Sunday of Advent that same year. Askome church belongs to Vessige parish.

The church replaced an older wooden church from the 16th century, which had in turn replaced a stave church from the 11th century that was destroyed by fire in 1530. The stone tower to the west was built in 1804 under the direction of Christian Månsson.
