Stjärnsunds kyrka is a parish church in Stjärnsund, in the Hedemora, Husby and Garpenbergs församling within the Diocese of Västerås, Sweden. The present building dates from the late nineteenth century and replaced an earlier ironworks church associated with the inventor Christopher Polhem.

An earlier wooden ironworks church (brukskyrka) stood on the site from 1739, dating from the period when Christopher Polhem was active at Stjärnsund. That building was demolished in 1896, after the current church had already been completed nearby. The present church was built between 1885 and 1887 to designs by the architect Herman Holmgren, using slag brick (slaggtegel), a material made from ironworks waste that was common in industrial communities of the region.

The church has a rectangular nave with a three-sided chancel to the east, and a tower to the west topped with an octagonal spire. Entrances are located on the west and south sides of the building.

Inside, the chancel windows hold stained glass added in 1956 by the artist Anders Gabrielsson, depicting the Nativity, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection. From the same year is a ceramic altar crucifix decorated in gold, silver and colour, made by the artist Jerk Werkmäster.

The pulpit dates from the time the church was built. Older fittings survive from the demolished ironworks church, including an eighteenth-century pewter baptismal bowl and a gilded silver communion vessel.

The organ heard today is a free reconstruction, built in 2011 by Åkerman och Lunds Orgelbyggeri AB, based on an earlier instrument installed in 1888 by Åkerman & Lund.
