Rebbelberga kyrka stands in the northern part of Ängelholm in southern Sweden. Though now surrounded by the town's streets, it began life as a rural stone church around the turn of the 1100s and 1200s, and much of its structure has been reshaped over the centuries.

The earliest church on this site was built towards the end of the 12th century or the start of the 13th, consisting of a squarish nave and a narrow, straight-ended chancel. A tower was added at some point during the medieval period, and part of its structure is believed to survive within the present building, making it possibly the oldest standing structure in Ängelholm.

Between 1866 and 1867 the church underwent a near-total rebuilding. New walls were raised outside the old ones, allowing services to continue throughout the work, and the original inner nave was only demolished once the new, larger church was complete. The rebuilt church gained stepped gables and a small apse-like projection to the east. In 1934 this eastern projection was removed and replaced with a more spacious rectangular chancel, and it was at this time that the tower clock, a gift to the church, was installed.

The altarpiece dates from 1911 and was designed by cathedral architect Theodor Wåhlin. It depicts Christ's meeting with two disciples at Emmaus, and is said to be a copy of a painting by Carl Bloch in Löderup Church. The pulpit was installed in 1867 as part of the rebuilding, later fitted with painted panels by the local artist Arthur Larsson in the 1930s.

Among the furnishings, the font dates from 1743 and belonged to the earlier church, while its brass basin is dated to the 16th century and is thought to be the oldest object still in everyday use. The church's most celebrated treasure, though, is the Rebbelberga crucifix, carved in the Romanesque period and counted among the oldest in Skåne, portraying Christ as a triumphant king rather than a suffering figure. It is no longer kept in the church itself but is held at the Historical Museum of Lund University, so visitors should not expect to see it on site.

The church has had a series of organs over the years, the current instrument dating from 1972, though such technical details are of most interest to specialists rather than casual visitors.
