Säters kyrka is a small parish church on the eastern slopes of Billingen, near Skövde in Västergötland. Its origins reach back to the early medieval period, and the building has since gathered a modest but distinctive collection of furnishings and memorials.

The oldest parts of the church are thought to date from around 1100, with construction and alterations continuing over the following centuries. In the mid-1700s the original medieval choir was demolished and replaced with a three-sided chancel in the east, beneath which a burial vault was created. A wooden tower, unusually set astride the west gable, was added in the 1800s.

The font is one of the church's oldest furnishings, generally dated to around 1250, though sources differ as to whether it survived from the earliest building or was rediscovered during renovation work in 1938. The altarpiece, carved in 1774 by the woodcarver Johan (Johannes) Ullberg the Younger of Velinga, remains a focal point of the interior. The pulpit, described as unique in character, is thought to date from around 1800.

Four heraldic memorial shields (epitaphs) hang on the walls, commemorating the Lind af Hageby, Björnhufvud and Hammarhjelm families, who were once major landowners in the parish. The sacristy houses an old carved figure of Christ, and among the church's older curiosities are an incense censer and an hourglass, both said to date from the 1400s. The smaller of the church bells is of a late medieval type, its wide inscription band carrying twenty-one letters arranged, intriguingly, without any clear order or meaning that has been deciphered.

A simple chamber organ was acquired in 1889, later replaced. The present organ was built in 1979 by Smedmans Orgelbyggeri, retaining the earlier organ case from 1909. A thorough renovation in 1990 restored the altarpiece and pulpit to their original colour schemes, having previously been overpainted.
