Hasslövs kyrka stands at the foot of the Hallandsåsen ridge near Lugnarohögen in Hasslöv, Laholm Municipality. Part of Hasslöv-Våxtorp parish in the Diocese of Gothenburg, it combines a medieval tower with a 19th-century nave and chancel.

The lower part of the tower, built of granite, dates back to the 1200s, making it the oldest surviving portion of the church. A timber spire was added to the tower in 1708, and between 1712 and 1760 an altarpiece and an epitaph were installed, suggesting a period of significant interior change.

In 1863–1864 the medieval nave and chancel were demolished, along with the old burial chamber, which was relocated to the churchyard. The present nave and chancel were rebuilt in brick, with walls supported by buttresses, to designs by Ludvig Hawerman. The medieval tower was retained, and a new entrance was cut into its west wall.

The interior was restored in 1951 under Figge Wetterqvist, when the church was repainted, new furnishings were introduced, chancel windows were blocked, and electric heating installed. In 1968 three chancel windows were reopened and fitted with stained glass by Randi Fisher and Ralph Bergholtz.

Among the church's furnishings is an oak pulpit in Renaissance style, thought to date from the late 1500s or early 1600s, and a wooden font from the 1500s with a brass font dish donated in 1671. A triumphal crucifix from the late 1400s hangs on the south wall of the chancel, near a former baptismal site, while a wooden sculpture of the apostle James dates from around 1500. Under the chancel roof hangs a trumpeting angel figure made by the local bell-ringer Tue Falck in the mid-1700s.

An epitaph commemorating the rural dean Herlak Dahlberg (1684–1760) comprises two paintings, the Crucifixion and the Resurrection, executed in 1742 by Alexander Roslin.

The church has had several organs over the centuries, including instruments from 1755, 1856 and 1875; the current mechanical organ, built in 1962/1964 by A. Mårtensson's organ factory in Lund, retains an older organ facade.
