Älvängens kyrka is a modern parish church in the small town of Älvängen, in Ale kommun, Västra Götaland. Built in 1970 and belonging to Starrkärr-Kilanda parish in the Diocese of Gothenburg, it is often known locally as the Blue Church.

The church was designed by the architect Torsten Hansson and built as a demountable 'walking church' (vandringskyrka) by Oresjö sektionshus, a prefabricated timber construction typical of fast-growing Swedish communities in the mid-twentieth century. It was extended and remodelled in 1982 under the direction of Kjell Malmqvist, at which time a freestanding bell tower was erected beside the main building; the bell itself was cast at the Bergholtz foundry in Sigtuna. The rebuilt church was reconsecrated the following year.

Because Älvängen has more than one place of worship, including the Smyrna Church and the Älvängen Mission Church, this Church of Sweden building is commonly distinguished by its nickname, the Blue Church, referring to its exterior colour.

Inside, the altarpiece is a wooden painting with scenes from the New Testament by Harry Svensson, inaugurated in 1986. The church's textiles were made by Christina Westman in 1990, adding a distinctive handcrafted element to the otherwise simple modern interior.

The original organ, installed in 1977, was built by John Grönvall Orgelbyggeri and had five stops across two manuals. It was sold in 1999 and replaced with a digital instrument made by Ahlbom.
