Nyåkers kyrka is a wooden church in the village of Nyåker, in Nordmaling parish, part of the Diocese of Luleå. It functions as a shared church between the Svenska kyrkan congregation and the EFS mission society.

The church was built in 1921 to designs by the architect C Larsson, giving Nyåker a modest timber church typical of many built in northern Sweden's parishes during this period. In 1938 it was remodelled according to plans by Einar Lundberg, a change that shaped much of the interior as visitors see it today.

The building follows a simple plan: a rectangular nave leads to a three-sided chancel at one end, while a gable tower containing the main entrance stands at the other. This straightforward layout is common among smaller Swedish parish churches of the early twentieth century, prioritising practicality over grand architectural statement.

Inside, the walls are lined with plasterboard and the ceiling is covered with fabric, while the floor is wooden — finishes that reflect the 1938 renovation rather than the original 1921 construction. The most notable furnishing is the altarpiece, painted by Gerda Höglund, which was added during that same 1938 rebuilding.

As a shared church between Svenska kyrkan and EFS, Nyåkers kyrka reflects a pattern found elsewhere in Sweden where local congregations and free-church mission organisations have cooperated in maintaining and using the same building.
