Lillhärdals kyrka is a parish church in the village of Lillhärdal, in Härjedalen, part of the Härnösand diocese. Though its present building is relatively modest, it holds a notable collection of medieval woodwork spanning several centuries.

The congregation's history stretches back far longer than the current building. A first church is said to have stood beside the river here from around 1050, but rising water levels eventually made the site unworkable, and a replacement was built in 1407. As the community grew, the church proved too small and was extended in 1770–71 under the direction of local builder Per Olofsson. A timber tower followed in 1805, the work of master builder Påhl Persson.

The building underwent a significant renovation in 1880, an effort largely driven by the local crown bailiff Jonas Åslund, later an entrepreneur behind Sweden's first mountain hotel at Fjällnäs. Working alongside a schoolteacher named Eklund and builder Westerlund, Åslund oversaw much of the practical work and financing, and was presented with a silver writing set by the parish in gratitude. The renewed church was reopened with a formal inauguration in November 1880.

Despite these later rebuildings, the church preserves furnishings of considerable age. The altar, its retable and the pulpit date from the 1770s, the work of Johan Edler the elder, who is also thought to have carved the font in the form of a wooden angel. Far older still is a small Madonna sculpture, carved from a single piece of wood and dated to the mid-13th century, making it one of the building's oldest treasures.

A late medieval altar cabinet from the close of the 15th century contains eight removable figures, and beside the altar rail stands a sacrament cabinet, a Swedish work from the same late medieval period. A chasuble surviving from 1671 adds a further layer to the church's textile history.

The organ, built in 1880 by the Örebro firm E. A. Setterquist & Son, has nine stops on a single manual. Åslund is again credited with commissioning the instrument and reportedly helped determine its specification; it was approved by a visiting music director before being inaugurated alongside the renovated church.
