Öjersjökyrkan is a modern church in Öjersjö, near Partille in Västra Götaland, serving the local community as part of Furulund-Öjersjö församling within the Church of Sweden. Its unassuming, practical origins make it an interesting example of a recently established place of worship.

Öjersjökyrkan began life not as a purpose-built church but as an existing structure named Sjöatorp, put up in 2002 by Saronkyrkan in Gothenburg. It was acquired in 2012 by the Partille-Sävedalen church authority as part of a plan, developed under the initiative Vision Öjersjö, to establish a new church presence in the growing district of Öjersjö. The building was consecrated for use according to the rites of the Church of Sweden by Bishop Per Eckerdal on 23 September 2012.

Architecturally, the church is modest: a red-painted timber building set in an attractive natural location near Lilla Hålsjön (Little Hålsjön lake). Its design reflects practical, low-key origins rather than any grand ecclesiastical tradition, giving it a homely, community-hall character rather than that of a traditional parish church.

As the surrounding area expanded, the original building proved too small for the growing congregation. From autumn 2018, work began on extending the existing worship space, alongside plans for an entirely new parish hall to be built next to the church.

Inside, the fittings are simple and functional, including a font, altar and ambo, in keeping with the building's modern and unpretentious character. Öjersjökyrkan remains a young addition to the churches of Göteborgs stift, its short history closely tied to the development of Öjersjö itself.
