Gödestads kyrka: Gödestad Church was designed by the architect Adrian Pettersson in an airy neo-Gothic style. It is a bright church with richly decorated pews and vaults. During 2006 the church underwent an extensive interior renovation. Welcome!

There had been a stone church in Gödestad since the 14th century, but by the end of the 19th century many felt it was too cramped and outdated. A new church was therefore built, which was completed in 1897. The old church survives as a ruin some distance from the present church.
