Backaryds kyrka is a wooden church in Backaryd, Blekinge, consecrated in 1799. It replaced an earlier timber church of 1630 and today serves the Ronneby parish in the Diocese of Lund.

The present church was built in neoclassical style to designs by Erasmus Gabriel Henschen, later revised by Olof Tempelman. Constructed of horizontal timber and clad in whitewashed render, with a shingled roof, it takes the form of a cross church with a long nave, short transepts, and a later brick sacristy added to the east. Inside, the tall triple-aisled hall is notable for its double rows of columns and a barrel vault over the central aisle.

Several items survive from the older church, including the font, carved from red limestone and thought to date from the 1200s, which is believed to have come originally from Ronneby church. The altarpiece, painted in 1887 by Ludvig Frid, is a copy of a Christus Consolator composition by the Danish painter Carl Bloch; sources differ as to whether the original Bloch painting Frid copied hangs in Löderup church or in Hörup church, both in Skåne. The rounded pulpit, made in 1885, is decorated with gilded symbols, and an older altar tablet bearing Karl XII's monogram survives from the previous church, along with an 18th-century votive ship donated to the congregation.

As the church has no bell tower of its own, the older wooden bell frame, dating from around the 1660s, was retained and still stands beside the church, clad in boarding and painted red, its gables topped with iron weathervanes and a spire bearing a weathercock. The bell frame today also houses a small museum of church artefacts, including older crosses, tools and a retired bell.

The church has had several organs over the years, and the current instrument was built in 1988 by Olof Hammarberg of Gothenburg, incorporating some material from its predecessors. The building was renovated and rededicated in 2025, when lighter decoration, chairs in place of pews, and space for a café and parish activities in the transepts were introduced.
