Tomelilla kyrka is the parish church of Tomelillabygdens församling in Skåne, serving the town of Tomelilla. Built in the early twentieth century, it began life for a more sombre purpose before becoming the town's main place of worship, and today houses several notable furnishings.

The building started out in 1908 as a burial chapel, designed by the architect Alfred Arwidius, at a time when Tomelilla belonged to the neighbouring Tryde parish but lacked a church building of its own in the town centre. When Tomelilla became an independent parish in 1926, the chapel was partly rebuilt and converted into a full parish church.

The church is orientated north to south, with its tower and entrance at the northern end. Constructed of brick, with brick facades, the tower, nave and chancel are each covered by tiled gable roofs. Restoration work was carried out in 1958 under the direction of the cathedral architect Eiler Græbe, and again in the first half of the 1970s under architect Torsten Leon-Nilson, when stained glass depicting scenes from the life of Jesus, by the artist Martin Sjöblom of Skepparp, was installed in the chancel windows and some windows of the nave.

Among the furnishings, the font is carved from Höör sandstone by the stonemason Eric Johansson of Dalby, to a design by Torsten Leon-Nilson, and was donated to the church in 1974 by Erik and Anne-Maj Eriksson; sources differ slightly on whether the font itself or only its silver bowl dates from the donation, since the accompanying silver dish is recorded as having been made in 1925 by M. Lysell of Trelleborg to a design by the architect Einar Lundberg. The block altar dates from 1973, also designed by Torsten Leon Nilson, and above it hangs an altarpiece by the Malmö artist Henning Malmström depicting Christ at Gethsemane.

The church bell, cast in bronze in 1928 by M & O Ohlsson of Ystad, and a mechanical organ of eleven stops, built in 1959 by the Frederiksborg organ workshop in Hillerød, Denmark, complete the church's principal fittings.
