On Sunday 20 April 1986, Timmermannens kapell (the Carpenter's Chapel) was inaugurated by Bishop Emeritus Lars Carlzon.
The chapel is located in Stenhamra parish hall. Weekly services and morning prayers for staff are held in the chapel. The chapel is used for baptism, wedding and funeral services.
The altarpiece was painted by Mårten Andersson and depicts Färingsö in concentrated form, with fields, hills, sun, wind and water.
The architect of Timmermannens kapell is Georg Miskar, who also designed Herman Palmsalen.
