The church stands in open, green surroundings and was designed by the architect Janne Feldt of Karlstad. It forms an irregular, semi-basement (souterrain) structure, faced both inside and out in a light, brownish-red brick, with a bell tower built as part of the same complex near the entrance.
Inside, the church hall is rectangular and unified in design, with the altar set along one of the long sides rather than at the far end. Feldt, who designed the building, also created the brass crowns hanging from the ceiling. The altar decoration is a blue textile piece by the artist Anna-Lisa Odelqvist-Kruse.
A free-standing font with curved forms and a brass basin can be moved within the church. The present organ, with ten stops, was built in 1988 by Walter Thür Orgelbyggen; an earlier organ by the same builder, installed in 1971, was later relocated to Stråningstorpskyrkan in Karlskoga.
