Benestads kyrka is a parish church in the village of Benestad, in Skåne, forming part of the Tomelillabygdens församling within the Diocese of Lund. It stands among the region's older rural churches, with origins reaching back to the medieval period.

The oldest parts of the building date from the late twelfth century, making it one of the more venerable church structures in the district. The chancel's cross-vault, added in the fourteenth century, carries painted decoration attributed to the so-called Snårestad Master, a name given by art historians to an unidentified medieval painter associated with a group of regional church murals.

The church originally had no tower; one was added some centuries after the initial construction. In 1868 the upper part of this tower was removed and the tower was joined together with the nave, giving the building its present external profile. A separate defensive structure known as a kastal, dating from the later Middle Ages, also survives at the site, a reminder of the fortified character some rural churches once had.

Among the fittings, the altarpiece, font and pulpit with its canopy are the work of Matthias Stenberg, a noted eighteenth-century woodcarver. The pulpit in particular is regarded by some commentators as one of Stenberg's finer achievements, its panels decorated with relief-carved figures of the evangelists.

The church has had at least two organs: an 1887 instrument by Sven Fogelberg of Lund, and the current pneumatic organ built in 1954 by A. Mårtensson's Orgelfabrik in Lund, which remains in use today.
