Ekebyborna kyrka is a medieval parish church in Ekebyborna, in the Motala district of Östergötland, standing near Lake Boren within Fornåsa parish, Borensberg pastorate, Linköping diocese. Note: the church has reportedly been closed at times due to damp problems in the building.

The church dates from the second half of the 1100s, built in Romanesque style with thick stone walls and a tower as wide as the nave itself, a feature noted by 18th-century local chroniclers as evidence of its age. The original chancel was a small square space with an apse; in the 1400s the church was vaulted and given a narrower, straight-ended chancel, and the new vaults were decorated with painted murals.

A richly decorated wrought-iron door dating from the 1100s once hung in the tower's south wall, where traces of an earlier main entrance can still be seen; the door itself is now displayed in the porch. On the tower's second floor are two barrel-vaulted rooms, the northern of which is traditionally known as Saint Birgitta's prayer chamber, said to be linked to the saint's private devotions, though this association rests on local tradition rather than firm record.

In the early 1600s a burial chapel was built for Hogenskild Bielke, a nobleman executed in Stockholm in 1605, though he was in fact buried at Riddarholm Church in Stockholm rather than here. The vault beneath the chapel does, however, contain the graves of Carl Larsson Sparre and his descendants. A fire in the surrounding village in 1671 destroyed the roof, tower spire and bell frame, and repairs were not completed until 1687.

A thorough restoration in 1828 under master builder Abraham Nyström brought new windows, a new tower door, the current pews, gallery front and a pulpit carved by Nyström himself. At the time the parish also wished to have the surviving medieval murals scraped away, but the work was fortunately abandoned before most of the painted decoration was lost; a later restoration in 1948–1949, led by architect Erik Fant, uncovered and restored what remained, including work attributed to the medieval painter known as Master Amund.

Among the church's furnishings is an altarpiece depicting the institution of the Eucharist, painted by Pehr Hörberg and given to the church in 1804. A notable communion chalice, richly ornamented and associated with a chapel in Optocz, is thought to have arrived in Sweden as war booty from a Polish campaign in the 1600s. The church also has a small mechanical organ with a history of rebuilding stretching back to the 18th century, retaining some earlier pipework within its case.
