Hörups kyrka is a parish church in Hörup, Skåne, with origins in the 12th century. Visitors come chiefly to see its medieval vaulted ceiling paintings and the altarpiece Christus Consolator, painted in 1875 by the Danish artist Carl Bloch — one of his most reproduced works, with the original hanging here.

The church was built in Romanesque style during the 1100s from whitewashed limestone, and parts of the tower and the original nave walls survive from this early period. The stone vaulting was added in the 15th century. By the mid-19th century the church had become too small for its congregation, and it was extended under the church restorer C.G. Brunius of Lund; this work added the transepts and uncovered the medieval ceiling paintings in the vaults. A further rebuilding in the early 20th century converted the previously broad single tower into twin towers, reportedly in imitation of Lund Cathedral, an alteration attributed to the master builder Teodor Wåhlin. Sources differ slightly on the extension date, with one account citing an eastward lengthening in 1848.

The font, carved in stone, dates from the 1100s and is attributed to the stonemason Mårten Stenmästare, with a palmette border noted on its bowl. The pulpit, carved in wood in the 17th century, is attributed to the sculptor Jacob Kremberg and depicts perspective-rich scenes drawn from the Book of Revelation.

A crucifix hanging in the north transept dates from the early 16th century (one source specifies oak) and is thought to have originally stood in the chancel.

The altarpiece, Christus Consolator (Christ the Consoler), was painted by Carl Bloch in 1875 and remains one of his best-known and most widely copied compositions; the original is kept in this church.

The churchyard was extended in 1914 onto the sloping ground south of the church. Because of the uneven terrain, it was laid out in terraces linked by a substantial staircase.

The church has had several organs over the centuries, including instruments built in 1785 and 1865; the current mechanical organ, with pneumatic wind-chests, was built in 1907 by Johannes Magnusson of Gothenburg.
