Ransbergs kyrka is a parish church west of Fagersanna in Tibro Municipality, part of the Diocese of Skara. Its origins reach back to the 1200s, and it remains a modest but historically layered rural church in Västra Götaland.

The church began as a small stone building in the 13th century, thought to have been built by monks and used as a resting place for travellers walking between Alvastra Abbey and Varnhem monastery. That original structure now forms the chancel of the present church, which was later extended with a rectangular nave and a small south porch.

The chancel window contains stained glass created in 1960 by Harald Lindberg, depicting scenes from the early history of Christianity in Västergötland. A separate bell tower stands southwest of the church, clad in tarred wooden shingles; its two bells were recast in the early 1800s.

Among the church's furnishings is a weathered triumphal crucifix dating from the late 13th century, one of the older surviving objects associated with the building. The Baroque pulpit, made by Andreas Schmaltz, was installed in 1685, and a medieval iron door survives in the sacristy. The current font dates from 1935; two earlier fonts are recorded as having been sold and subsequently lost.

The roof structure, dating from the 1350s, underwent a significant renovation in 2022, when the old timber framework was carefully restored and covered with new black-painted steel sheeting, according to a local newspaper report.

The present organ, built by Smedmans Orgelbyggeri, has 20 stops across two manuals and pedal.
