Blentarps kyrka stands in the village of Blentarp, around 13 km south-west of Sjöbo in Skåne. Dating from the 12th century, it belongs to Blentarps församling within the Church of Sweden's Lund diocese, and retains striking Romanesque features.

The church was built of grey fieldstone in the latter half of the 1100s. Its entrance portal is framed in red Öved sandstone and guarded by two carved lions, a doorway that in medieval times was reserved for men only.

The porch, with its stepped gables, and probably also the tower were added in the 1200s. The tower's round form is unusual for the region; only three other churches in Skåne—Bollerup, Hammarlunda and Hammarlöv—share this round west-tower design. It is supported by two buttresses and topped with an octagonal spire. The church was given vaulted ceilings in the 1400s, and in 1754 the medieval apse was demolished and replaced with a straight-ended choir with baroque gables. A sacristy was added in 1911.

Among the furnishings, the font is contemporary with the oldest parts of the building and was carved from limestone by the so-called Mårten group. Its bowl is decorated with twelve round-arched openings, one for each apostle, above a rope-moulding border; the base bears two lions and a ram, one lion biting the ram in a scene said to symbolise evil. A brass christening dish from the 1600s is also kept in the church.

Two gilded copper processional crosses survive from the 1200s. In the 1880s there were proposals to move them to the Historical Museum in Stockholm, but this never happened, so the crosses remain in the church. In 1910, however, two wooden sculptures—an oak triumphal crucifix and a birch figure of an apostle, both in poor condition—were transferred to the Historical Museum in Lund.

The altarpiece and pulpit were bought in 1759 from Öved church, which was then being demolished. The pulpit itself dates from the 1600s and is worked in Renaissance style; a canopy was added in 1748, and in 1976 a carved dove, symbolising the Holy Spirit, was hung beneath its roof.

The present organ was built in 1914 by Johannes Magnusson of Gothenburg and remains a mechanical instrument.
