Jörlanda kyrka is a parish church in Jörlanda, Stenungsund Municipality, in the Diocese of Gothenburg. Though its stone walls trace the outline of a medieval predecessor, the building visitors see today dates largely from the 1920s, following a dramatic fire.

The site has held a church since at least the 12th century, when a medieval stone church was built here. Over the centuries it was altered repeatedly: a stone porch was added in the 1620s, the east end was rebuilt with a wider three-sided chancel in the 1820s, and a detached 18th-century wooden bell tower was joined to the building. Subsidence proved a persistent problem, requiring the chancel to be demolished and rebuilt in the 1850s, with new cracks appearing only a few years later.

In 1921 the old church was destroyed by a severe fire. A new stone church was erected on the same site between 1924 and 1926, designed by Sigfrid Ericson, reusing parts of the earlier wall lines. The artist Joël Mila painted wall decorations based on older models. The church is a single-nave stone building, whitewashed outside, with a three-sided chancel to the east, a sacristy to the north, and a whitewashed timber tower to the west housing the porch.

A notable survival is the font, carved from local mica-rich grey gneiss and dating from the mid- to late 13th century. Its hemispherical bowl bears unusually broad, flat acanthus scrollwork, though it suffered damage in the 1921 fire. It is said to resemble the font at nearby Ucklum church, apparently the work of the same simple craftsmen using stone from the same area.

The altarpiece, believed to have been made around 1685 in Hans Swant's workshop, was rescued from the fire; its central Last Supper painting was completed in 1894. An older painting from the early 1600s hangs on the north wall, and a depiction of Christ's baptism from the 1690s hangs by the baptismal altar. Two large 17th-century brass candlesticks stand on the altar, and two sizeable early 20th-century brass chandeliers also survived the blaze. The pulpit, designed by Ericson, reproduces the old church's pulpit of 1699, lost in the fire.

The church's first organ, built in 1884, was destroyed along with the old building. A new organ was installed in 1926, its façade and speaking pipes still in place, though the instrument itself was replaced in 1994 using some older pipework.

On the south wall of the church, a stone tablet with a Hebrew and Latin inscription commemorates Engelbert Jörlin (1733–1810), a local figure remembered in the community.
