The church consists of a nave with a narrower chancel to the east and a sturdy tower to the west. Behind the altar, east of the chancel, lies the sacristy. Inside, tall, narrow windows and an angled roof give the church interior its distinctive character. A renovation carried out in 1925–1926 saw the timber building clad with boarding, giving it much of its present external appearance.
Among the church's furnishings is its bell, cast in 1903 by the Bergholtz foundry and bearing a short inscription dedicating glory to God alone. The organ, with five stops, is older than the church itself, having been built in Boden in 1882 by Nils Oskar Alm and presumably brought in when the new building was completed. The textiles used in the church were donated by local church sewing circles, a reminder of the everyday communal effort that furnished many rural Swedish churches of this period.
