Knippla kapell is a small wooden chapel on the southern part of the island of Källö-Knippla, in Öckerö parish in the Diocese of Gothenburg. It offers visitors a glimpse of local island life and community initiative rather than grand ecclesiastical architecture.

The building began life in 1915 not as a church but as a temperance lodge, reflecting the social movements common in Swedish coastal communities of the period. Some years later it passed into the hands of a local church association, gradually taking on a more overtly religious role.

A substantial renovation took place in 1954, and the chapel eventually came under the ownership of the Church of Sweden in 2003, when a dedicated society, Föreningen Knippla kapell, was formed to look after the building on the parish's behalf.

Architecturally the chapel is modest and functional: a saddle roof covered in black sheet metal and exterior walls clad in grey, wave-edged fibre cement panels. The entrance faces east. A further renovation in 2005 added a narrower three-sided chancel to the west and a small extension to the north containing a kitchen and an accessible toilet.

Inside, the fittings are simple. The altar is a plain white-painted wooden table set in the chancel, and the platform area holds a piano and an organ rather than more elaborate liturgical furnishings. A notable feature is the cross at the far end of the chancel, which originally came from the now deconsecrated Sionkapellet, a former Pentecostal chapel on Knippla, linking this building to the island's wider religious history.
