Storkågeträsks bönhus: On 7 May 1932 a prayer house association was formed in Kågeträsk, and a proposal for a new prayer house was to be built through voluntary effort. Here in the prayer house – the House by the Road to Heaven (Huset vid Himlastigen) – Martin Lönnebo, later Bishop of the Diocese of Linköping and creator of the Frälsarkransen (Wreath of Christ), had his first encounters with faith and church.

The cost was estimated at 4,500 kronor. The collection of money and timber began in 1932, and by 1936 the house was completed. It was inaugurated on 7 June 1936. At present a service is held once a month.
