Bottna kyrka is a small medieval church standing on a hilltop above Bottnafjorden in Tanums kommun, Västra Götaland. Dating from the 12th century, it retains a notably austere, thick-walled character typical of early Swedish parish churches.

Bottna kyrka was built in the 1100s and still shows a strongly medieval character, with thick walls and few, small windows. The chancel, now straight-ended, replaced an earlier apse during rebuilding in the 1500s or 1600s; traces of the older curved wall can still be seen in the chancel gable. The church is thought to have suffered a fire at some point before this rebuilding. To the west stands a small porch, which is actually what remains of a medieval west tower, with the main entrance set into the south wall. The tower itself has a stone lower section and a narrower timber upper section, incorporating older reused oak beams of uncertain age.

During the 18th century the window openings were altered to their present form, and the vaulted wooden ceiling was probably added around the mid-1700s. A thorough restoration in 1965–66, overseen by Erik Lundberg, reshaped much of the interior, introducing new pews, a new altar and new lighting, while also uncovering an older stone floor and refitting the porch. At the same time, a recess behind the altarpiece, once perhaps used for relics or storage, was bricked up again.

Among the church's furnishings, the baroque altarpiece — showing a crucifix set against a depiction of Jerusalem — is said to possibly be a war trophy from the Thirty Years' War, though this remains uncertain. The church bell was cast in 1736. The five-sided pulpit, dated 1614, is decorated with columns and carved pilasters, while the wooden, hourglass-shaped font dates from the 18th century.

The organ, built in 1959 by the Grönvall workshop, replaced an earlier harmonium and remains a modest but characterful instrument of the building.
