Farstastrandkyrkan, in Farsta strand south of Stockholm, is a modern church consecrated in 1997. Designed by architect Göran Jansson, it began life as a shop building and now serves Farsta parish within the Church of Sweden.

The building itself dates from the 1960s, when it was constructed as a Konsum supermarket. It was converted and consecrated as a church on 31 August 1997 by Bishop Henrik Svenungsson, giving the district a modern place of worship built from an unexpected starting point.

At the heart of the building lies the worship space, which sources describe slightly differently: one account calls it hexagonal, another octagonal. Either way, its position at the centre of the structure gives the church an unusual, focused layout compared with more traditional cross-shaped churches, and visitors sometimes liken its atmosphere to that of a small archipelago chapel.

The furnishings reflect a unified design approach: the altar, lectern, font and paschal candlestick were all made to drawings by Göran Jansson, the same architect responsible for the building's conversion, giving the interior a consistent, purpose-made character.

A church bell was reportedly consecrated in 1999, two years after the building itself, adding a traditional element to this otherwise unconventional church.
