Tierps kyrka is the parish church of Tierp-Söderfors in Uppsala, and one of the largest rural churches in Uppland. Built around 1300, it stands within the ancient Tierp kyrkby and was once part of an important medieval pastorate.

The church was constructed around the year 1300 from granite and brick, with a sacristy on the north side of the chancel that may predate the rest of the building. Its four corners are marked by buttresses topped with small spires. The original timber barrel-vaulted ceiling was replaced with brick vaulting in the 15th century, and around 1470 the walls were decorated with medieval wall paintings by an unidentified artist known as the Tierp Master.

Among the church's notable furnishings is a triumphal crucifix from the late 13th century, hung on the north wall of the chancel, and a medieval limestone font thought to date from the later 15th century. The pulpit, in Gustavian style, was consecrated in 1781.

Outside the church stand two runestones, one of which is a so-called Ingvar stone, commemorating a Viking-age expedition, adding a further layer of history to the churchyard setting.

The church has a long history of organ building, beginning with a small instrument in the mid-17th century and followed by several later organs, reflecting changing musical tastes over the centuries. The current main organ dates from the late 1960s, incorporating an older 18th-century case with sounding facade pipes, while a smaller mechanical organ was added in the chancel around 1980.

Structural concerns have arisen periodically, including reinforcement work found necessary in the mid-20th century and cracks discovered in the chancel during renovation works around 2010, which led to ongoing monitoring of the building's condition.
