Stockaryd kyrka is a parish church in Sävsjö pastorat, Jönköping county, belonging to the Church of Sweden within the Diocese of Växjö. The present building dates from the early twentieth century and stands on a site with a much older church history.

The current church was built in 1906–1907 to designs by Fritz Eckert, replacing an earlier timber church dating from 1692 that itself had roots traced back to the 1200s. That older building was a rectangular hall church with a panelled wooden exterior, a steep shingled roof and eighteenth-century interior paintings by Johan Christian Zschotzscher. It was demolished in 1908 once the new church was complete; its timber was reportedly taken to Hästveda in Skåne to build a house, while its detached bell tower was later re-erected in Slottsskogen park in Gothenburg in 1910. Old photographs are said to preserve an impression of the demolished church's exterior.

The present church is a timber-built hall church in a mixed historicist style, oriented with its tower to the south-south-west and a narrower three-sided chancel to the north-north-east. The tower features Gothic Revival sound openings, pointed gables and a small polygonal lantern topped with a tall spire and cross. Inside, the open roof construction, triple-coupled windows and a chancel arch echoing the three-sided ceiling shape give the interior its character. Two bells hang in the tower, one recast in 1910 and the other cast in 1853.

The altarpiece, painted in 1954 by Olle Hjortzberg, depicts the women's visit to Christ's empty tomb and their meeting with the angel. Other furnishings include a semicircular altar rail with turned balusters, a richly gilded hexagonal Gothic Revival pulpit with a sounding board, and a wooden font with both an old pewter and a newer silver christening bowl. A wooden nativity scene with 80cm-high carved figures, along with a processional cross, were made by Eva Spångberg.

Several objects survive from the earlier church, including an oak chest with heavy iron fittings, a pew, an early eighteenth-century Baroque pulpit decorated with figures of saints, and a nineteenth-century bell, along with some of the chandeliers. Communion silver and two chasubles dating from the 1700s are also still in use.

The church has had several organs over the years, including instruments by Magnus Larsson Elmelin (1857) and Emil Wirell of Växjö (1908), and one moved here in 1960 from Huskvarna mission church. The current mechanical organ was built in 1980 by Nils-Olof Berg of Nye, reusing the façade of the 1908 instrument; a small mechanical choir organ by the same builder was added in 1987–88.
