Hofors kyrka is a twentieth-century parish church in the Gästrikland ironworking town of Hofors, built to serve a community that had grown rapidly without a church building of its own for many decades.

Hofors developed within Torsåkers parish, but by the later nineteenth century its expanding population felt keenly the lack of a local place of worship, the parish church lying more than a Swedish mile away. In 1894 a school building, designed by the Stockholm architects Axel and Hjalmar Kumlien, was erected in the town, and its assembly hall served as a makeshift church for decades. Hofors formed its own parish in 1944, though the diocesan chapter had made clear that a proper church building would eventually be required. It was not until 1961 that construction finally began, to a design by the architect Bengt Romare, and the church was consecrated in 1962.

The building is orientated north-west to south-east, an unusual arrangement explained by its setting: the wide, open entrance façade, with its three doorways, faces symbolically towards the ironworks that shaped the town's identity and economy.

Among the furnishings, the font holds a silver bowl designed by Folke Arström, its base decorated with symbols of the Trinity and the Holy Spirit. The altar cross, in silver, dates from 1962 and was paid for by donations from the congregation, while silver vases on the altar were made by Martin Olsson and given by Ivar Bohm, then head of the local SKF works, and his wife. The altar candlesticks were forged by Gösta Holmqvist, funded by the Hofors Lions Club. Three bells in the tower were cast by the Bergholtz foundry in Sigtuna in 1962.

The church has had more than one organ over the years. An instrument from Grönlunds Orgelbyggeri, installed in 1957, was later sold on to Hallstaviks kyrka in 1967. The organ now in use was built in 1967–1968 by A. Mårtensson's Orgelfabrik of Lund and was renovated in 1990. A separate, smaller choir organ was added in 1976.
