Strandkapellet

Hammerdal's Strandkapellet (shoreside chapel) is beautifully situated with a view over Lake Hammerdalssjön. The chapel was built in 1990, architect Henrik Rörborn.

Ströms kyrka

Ströms kyrka, in Strömsund in Jämtland, is the parish church of Ström-Alanäs. Consecrated in 1847, it replaced a small medieval church that had become too small for the growing congregation, and it retains several older furnishings alongside later restorations.

Tåsjö kyrka

Tåsjö kyrka is a wooden parish church in Kyrktåsjö, in Strömsunds kommun, Jämtland, belonging to the Church of Sweden's Härnösand diocese. Built in the 1870s, it stands a few kilometres from the site of an earlier chapel and is notable for its distinctive organ.

Vikens kapell

Vikens kapell is a timber chapel at the village of Viken beside Kvarnbergsvattnet in Frostviken, Jämtland, within Frostvikens församling of the Church of Sweden. Remote and modest, it offers visitors a glimpse of early settler life in this far northern valley.
