Valvikens kyrksal is a small parish church in Helgum, within Sollefteå municipality in northern Sweden. Part of Helgums församling in the Diocese of Härnösand, it has a modest but locally significant history rooted in community effort.

The building's origins are unusual: for nearly a hundred years, residents of the small railway settlement of Valviken discussed the need for a proper place of worship. Rather than constructing a new church from scratch, the community eventually converted the old fire station into a church hall, relying on voluntary labour and donations from local people.

The converted building was consecrated on 3 October 1993 by Bishop Emeritus Bengt Hallgren, making it one of the more recently established churches in the region. Its simple, functional architecture reflects its practical origins as a repurposed civic building rather than a purpose-built church.

As a small community church born from grassroots effort rather than grand design, Valvikens kyrksal is best appreciated as a story of local persistence — a village finally securing its own church hall after decades of hope and fundraising, using the resources at hand.
