Skeppshamns kapell is a small wooden fishing chapel on Åstholmen island in Timrå municipality, part of Tynderö parish. Built in the eighteenth century to serve the local fishing community, it remains a modest but characterful place of worship, said to be well used during the summer months.

An earlier chapel stood on the site from 1624 but was eventually abandoned. The present building was erected in 1768, with its first service held in July 1769, although the interior was not fully fitted out and painted until 1788 — a date recorded on the weather vane above the bell turret.

The chapel is a simple timber structure with a rectangular nave and a porch at the western end, built on a granite foundation and clad in red-painted board panelling with white-painted corners and bargeboards. The roof is covered in wooden shingles, topped with a white-painted cross at the eastern end, while a small bell turret rises above the western gable.

Inside, the wooden floor steps up towards the chancel, which is separated from the rest of the nave by two decorative pyramids and a richly carved rood screen — an unusual and memorable feature for such a small building. The open pews and exposed roof timbers give the interior a plain, functional character typical of Swedish fishing chapels.

Among the furnishings, the altarpiece depicting the baptism of Christ was reportedly a gift from fishermen from Gävle. A pulpit dated 1669 and a crucifix from the 1400s were said to have been acquired from Ljustorp church around 1770–71. According to the source material, the originals were later stolen, and only the medieval crucifix was recovered; the objects now displayed are described as copies.
